To meet the increasing demand for U.S. university-level study experience, and to provide students with a general understanding of various disciplines in modern education, Dalian University of Technology (DLUT) in cooperation with North American universities in launching a study aboard program in China. In this program, students can take a selection of courses and receive college level credit from DLUT.

Each class has an enrollment limit of 20 students. Courses will be conducted in a combination of lecture, discussion, research, and case study, and are taught by credentialed faculty meeting the same standard as North American universities. To build up an international, educational, and innovative program, DLUT invites instructors from worldwide universities, including New York University, University of Leeds, Texas Wesleyan University, Central Christian College of Kansas, Mid-America Christian University. While all of the courses are taught in English, students will be given the opportunity to take language courses in Mandarin.

DLUT is responsible for the supervision and regulation on teaching affairs and all students’ grades will follow DLUT 's relevant academic regulations and rules. The Office of the Registrar will issue official transcript to the student who has successfully completed the program study.

All courses are verified by World Education Services (WES) and meet transfer requirement of North American universities. DLUT’s business school is on the AACSB (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation school list and all business courses offered are AACSB and EQUIS accredited.
