This course introduces the principles, concepts, and methods of landscape ecology—a multidisciplinary field that studies the patterns and processes across landscapes. Students will explore the interactions between ecological, physical, and social components of landscapes, and their effects on biodiversity, ecosystem function, and sustainability.
